The first of the Model 3001 series, the Levelogger Gold offers higher resolution and high accuracy of 0.05%, for a much reduced price.  Its transducer capabilities, temperature range and compensation, water density, altitude and clock accuracies are far improved from previous versions. The Levelogger Gold is a stable and reliable data logger that continues the tradition of Solinst quality.

The Levelogger Gold memory will log a maximum of 40,000 data points (level & temperature readings), captured in separate logs.  The user can choose between logging modes: slate or continuous (in linear mode).  The redundant memory feature allows a backup of the last 1,200 readings.

It combines a datalogger, pressure transducer and temperature sensor, and 10-year battery in a small, nearly maintenance-free, 7/8-inch x 6-inch (22 millimeter x 154 millimeter) stainless steel housing. The sealed Faraday cage design greatly simplifies maintenance and provides protection against power surges and electrical spikes caused by lightning.  This version of the Levelogger can withstand a fluctuation in water levels of +/-15 feet or 5 meters.
