The Stainless Steel (SS) Mega-Monsoon pump is capable of pumping from a depth to water of 200 feet to ground level and is equipped with 210 feet of heavy duty 12-gauge wire on a tubular metal reel. The SS Mega-Monsoon requires the Low Flow with Power Booster 3 LCD Controller (available as an additional rental), and uses a 12 volt DC battery as a power source (not included). Its reliable design is suitable for continuous sampling or purging of groundwater wells. The SS Mega-Monsoon can also sample as low as 10 mL per minute from any depth when used with the LCD Controller and Low Flow Control Valve. The SS Mega-Monsoon has a 1.82-inch diameter and is constructed of three high polished stainless steel parts: replaceable motor module, motor housing top connector, and outside pump housing. This stainless steel construction makes it easy to clean and decontaminate the pump. The high performance pump motor operates for over 400 hours under normal working conditions. An additional motor module is shipped with the pump and can be replaced in the field in less than 30 seconds. The computer-engineered bottom debris filter screen on the SS Mega-Monsoon allows operation under harsh conditions with higher turbidity. These stainless steel pumps have been installed in hundreds of remediation sites using pump and treat systems; they can also be used with solar panels for long term remediation sites.
